Mini Biography

Christian Kane was born in Dallas, Texas. Christian and his family moved around a lot throughout the South before settling down in Norman, Oklahoma. Christian attended the University of Oklahoma where he had plans to major in Art History. But Christian wanted to try out acting. So Christian took his truck and his life savings of a few hundred dollars and headed to Hollywood, the City of Angels. Christian had many jobs including mailroom clerk for a talent agency. His big break came when he played Ryan "Flyboy" Legget, the male lead, in a new show called _Fame L.A. (1997)_ based on the hit movie and 80s tv show. Unfortunately the show was cancelled after 22 episodes. Christian's next role was in Aaron Spelling's _Rescue 77 (1999)_ where he played Wick Lobo a.k.a "cowboy" because of his radical application of "gutter" medicine. Due to poor ratings the show was cancelled. Not to be defeated, Christian was soon cast as a production assistant in Edtv (1999) starring Woody Harrelson as well as a made for TV Western called Crossfire Trail (2001) (TV) with Tom Selleck. Christian is currently filming another feature flick with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Marc Blucas titled Summer Catch (2001)

CHARACTER BACKGROUND: ELIOT SPENCER

Highly skilled martial artist, weapons expert and retrieval expert. His role in cons is often to play small roles while protecting the team, often leading him into hand-to-hand combat that draws on his martial arts skills, though he also appears to be a skilled grifter. Eliot has a long history as a soldier-of-fortune, and has seen violence much of his life. While extremely adept with firearms, Eliot dislikes guns because of their "limited range of effectiveness". Additionally Eliot is able to recognize various military or intelligence backgrounds by seemingly obscure tells, such as identifying a security agent as past-CIA simply by his stance. While merely presumed as the muscleman, he demonstrates a subtle intelligence in conversation, often taking advantage of the underestimations of others. While often projecting a seemingly grumpy exterior, Eliot does possess a sense of humor and often enjoys ribbing the rest of the team. Eliot is extremely loyal and takes great offense when someone "cons their own team", as both Nate and Sophie have done in the past. Eliot is an excellent cook and appears to be adept with women, but tends to keep his romantic life private, as well as much of his background. However, it's implied he has some sort of military background.
